About us
Lisa and Brant took ownership of the Moosehorn in September 2020 and have been loving it since. It has been a huge change in their lives but along side their youngest daughter Sam and their loyal pup, They are really enjoying meeting all of their wonderful guests and getting the motel in better shape.
Along with running her new business, Lisa is a full time nurse at a hospital and also works with a company traveling to give injections to patients in North Eastern Ontario. Taking care of her patients is one of her passions. She also loves the outdoors, going on adventures, and especially being on the water. Living on the Montreal river has been a dream come true.
Brant also has a full time job which keeps him extra busy. When he's not at work he's helping to fix up the motel and keeping it running. He's a gentle giant standing at 6'6 who loves his family and would do just about anything for them including buying a motel.
Sam and Moose are the main faces you'll see around the motel. Sam is 21 years old and Moose is 6 months. They sure didn't expect to be running a Motel together but they're the dream team.
Sam moved up north in 2018 from Ajax, ON and hasn't looked back since. She loves the outdoors, especially swimming and spending time with her mom and sisters as much as she can.
She's always working hard and striving to make sure her guests have a wonderful stay.
